What’s up Nerdgenic Nation! The first trailer for the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney Plus series has been released, and Aaron Waller details his thoughts and shares some of the biggest takeaways from the new trailer on our YouTube channel. I’ve embedded the YouTube video above for you to view.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi series debuts on May 25th, and takes place after the Star Wars prequel trilogy. At the end of that series, Anakin Skywalker was defeated by Obi-Wan, which lead to him becoming Darth Vader. Obi-Wan was then tasked to keep watch over Luke Skywalker by Grand Master Yoda, which lead to the original Star Wars Trilogy. With this series positioned between the two trilogies, there is a ton of story to explore.
From the trailer, it appears that Obi-Wan Kenobi is being hunted shortly after the events of Order 66. We should see Obi-Wan work to keep Luke and his family safe all while working to stay unseen. I’m extremely excited about this story, and cannot wait to learn more. We’ll work to keep you updated on this site and YouTube channel.
