JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is a must-watch anime which is loved by people all over the world for its quirkiness and amazing plot-lines. From afar, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure doesn’t really seem like a very good anime. But once you start to watch this anime, you will see just how beautifully the stories in this anime are handled.
Today, I’ll give you guys a short review of the whole series highlighting all the strong and weak points of this anime. First of all, let us take a look at the plot of this anime.
The weird thing about the plot of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is that, there are many plot-lines in this anime! Every season of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure follows the adventures of a new JoJo. The story of these Joestars began when Dio Brando decided to make an appearance in Jonathan’s life. Every JoJo, starting from Jonathan all the way to Giorno, always fights to defeat evil and save the innocent people.
The plot of this anime doesn’t really seem like anything too bizarre but you’ll know just how bizarre this show is once you actually start watching it.
Now, let us take a look at the different aspects of this anime which make it a definite must-watch!
Animation:
The animation in JoJo’s bizarre adventure can be a turn-off for some people but in actuality, it is the most amazing aspect of this show. The art style of JoJo’s bizarre adventure is very unique as it gives every character (even the females) a manly touch. The animation itself is very swift and manga-like which really draws us in.
Fight Scenes:
The fights in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure are very beautifully thought-out! The fights are always filled with complexity and quirkiness which you just don’t find in any other anime. This is the main aspect which makes JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure standout; as in most anime, only the boss fight is truly entertaining whilst the rest of the fights are not really that complex and can feel very stale. The fights in this anime don’t feel repetitive at all, and they always put something new on the table.
Comedy:
Despite how it looks, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is not a comedy anime. JoJo’s Bizarre adventure is just a shounen anime with a very serious story, but it still manages to make you laugh in every single episode. The quirkiness of this show somehow manages to make it seem funny! Also, whilst not being a comedy show at its core, JoJo’s Bizarre adventure still has a lot of comedic moments which are very humorous and entertaining.
Voice Acting:
The voice acting in this anime is top-notch for both the original Japanese version and the English dubbed version. However, most JoJo fans only prefer the Japanese version because it can seem quite funny at times and really help you enjoy the show. The voice actors in the English dubbed version have also done an amazing job.
Final Thoughts
Personally, I think JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is a must-watch anime. This anime gives you amazing stories and action whilst also being extremely hilarious. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure will always keep you at the edge of your seat as there is not a single dull moment.
I do have to agree, part one of this anime can seem a little boring, but all the other parts are definitely worth your time. Every part introduces a new protagonist who tells us his own unique story. My personal favorite part of this anime would be part 5 which introduces us to Giorno and his messed-up world.
As for an actual rating, I’d like to rate this anime “8.5/10”.
