Mushoku Tensei
There are many anime's out there with great animation, but we've decided to put together a list of our top 5 for you.

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

When it comes to anime, stories may be the most important thing, but the visual quality of these can often make a difference; good animation can make us watch an anime whose plot does not particularly attract our attention, while bad animation can do the opposite and also cause negative reviews in the process, which has already happened even in very popular shows. Since we know that aesthetics is a fundamental part of anime, here is a top 5 anime with great animation.

5) Violet Evergarden

And we start this list with Violet Evergarden, the popular anime that came to Netflix in 2015, and the trailer already showed that it would be a spectacular work in terms of aesthetics. Nowadays it is possibly one of the anime’s that cares the most about visual details; from the excessively detailed way in which the scenarios are animated to how well done the characters and their animations are.

It is enough to watch an episode of Violet Evergarden to realize all the work behind its visual features.

4) Kimetsu No Yaiba (Demon’s Slayer)

Kimetsu No Yaiba is without a doubt one of the best Shonen anime of the moment and the popularity that the anime has had worldwide is simply incredible.

Koyoharu Gotouge’s work has an engaging plot that makes us quickly empathize with the characters, as well as having different battles that excite anyone who enjoys this type of anime, but if this isn’t enough to make you watch it, the animation is also incredible. In fact, one of the main reasons why it has become so popular is precisely because of how well the aesthetic details are treated, especially during the fights, because this is where those animation details are taken to a whole different level.

3) Shingeki No Kyojin (Attack on Titan)

Speaking of shows with gripping stories and impressive fight scenes, we have Shingeki No Kyojin (Attack on Titan).

While there probably isn’t a human on the face of the earth who hasn’t heard of this anime, every time someone references it is mostly to highlight how intriguing its plot is and how epic the battles are, but the reality is that despite some criticism from fans after the change of studio that the series went through in its last season, the show has excellent animation that is worth noting. Because to bring those huge titans to life is definitely not an easy task, and animating all of the spectacular fights takes a lot of work, but from the first season we can see that great importance was given to taking care of the details of the particular aesthetics of the series, resulting in great animation work.

2) Puparia

Puparia is a special case because unlike all the others on this list, Puparia is not a long series, quite the opposite, it is a short film that you can watch in just three minutes, but don’t be fooled, despite being very short, the work behind it is immense. Explaining what Puparia is about is a very difficult task, but there are three words that define this work: mysterious, interesting, and beautiful.

The particular drawing of the short makes it immediately unique, which makes sense once we find out that Shingo Tamagawa, its director, is a person who always appreciated how a great many works of art looked, which made him go to an art school where he specialized in fine arts. This love for art is immediately noticeable when watching Puparia, which has beautiful and peculiar animation.

It is true that from the moment of its release, this anime created a lot of debate on social media due to certain controversial topics in its story. However, everyone agrees that when it comes to the visual side of this production, it definitely stands out. The attention to detail is incredible, both the battle scenes in which the powers look spectacular, as well as the dialogue scenes where the breeze moves the vegetation are very carefully animated to make it look as good as it can.

There is a lot to like in this anime and the animation is definitely one of the strongest elements that it has, which is why rank it at the top of our list.
