The first full trailer for the Moon Knight Disney Plus series has been released, and this has many fans excited for its release. In the trailer, the Moon Knight costume is revealed, and we see a glimpse of the story and what’s in store for us when the series debuts in March of this year. We’ve already got a ton of theories lined up which we’ll explore in future articles and videos on our YouTube channel, but for now, we’d like to share why you should be excited about the Moon Knight series.
Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight Performance
Oscar Isaac has proven to be a great actor and has played comic book superheroes and villains with much success. His portrayal of Moon Knight will differ from past roles, and this is primarily due to the character of Moon Knight as a whole. Moon Knight is a character with dissociative identity disorder, which is a condition in which someone has multiple personalities. In Moon Knight’s case, he can switch personalities at any moment. Oscar Issac has stated that he will be changing his accent and how he speaks for each personality so the audience will know which personality is in control at any given time. If handled well, this will be a performance we are sure to remember for decades.
Moon Knight’s Story, Visuals, And Costume
The Moon Knight series will be 6 episodes, and will primarily focus on the origin of the character. The visuals already seem top tier and we are sure Marvel Studios will make adjustments prior to the series release. From what we’ve heard so far the same team behind the Daredevil series has worked on Moon Knight. You can see that Moon Knight is borrowing Daredevil’s darker tone which should help to set it apart from much of the other Disney Plus series.
Lastly, we’ll talk about Moon Knight’s costume. The costume looks awesome, and Marvel really has been outdoing themselves in terms of costume designs lately. The white eyes and cape all look great in live-action. We’ll be sure to let you all know more information in regards to the costume designs it becomes available.
