NBA® 2K22’s video game studio, Visual Concepts has revealed some really cool features coming to the newest release in the series. For those of you that have never played NBA® 2K video games, they are the most popular and best-selling basketball simulation on the market. The series is known for its realistic gameplay and portrayal of players and themes of the NBA®.
NBA® 2K22 promises to be a real treat and we’ll be providing information into all of their updates here in this article for you.
Gameplay & Modes
NBA® 2K22 will improve on the series already great gameplay. 2k promises improved on-court gameplay with enhancements to both the offensive and defensive side of gameplay. The changes will primarily focus on how you score, and how you choose to counter your opponents on the defensive end of the ball.
If you are concerned about the life of this game after release you no longer need to worry. 2K has promised a ‘Seasons’ mode which provides players with more in-game content and rewards after the release of the title. This will ensure that you will always have an exciting way to play your favorite basketball simulator.
You can now create, build, and play with your own ‘dream team’ in the MyTEAM mode. This mode will provide you with fresh content every season and also allow you to complete challenges to earn new rewards. There will also be special events that take place as well. With all of these new additions, there is sure to be much to play.
There will be enhancements to this game for owners of Xbox Series S/X and PS5. Players on next-gen consoles get to experience the brand new MyCAREER and City modes. These two game modes unite to make a new narrative experience for players. So if you’ve been a fan of the MyCAREER modes in the previous 2K games, then this is one update that is sure to have you jumping for joy right now.
PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC players will have a new Neighborhood mode which is uniquely built on the desk of a cruise ship. The last update has us really excited, and that is the MyNBA and MyWNBA modes. These two game modes will allow you to build an NBA or WNBA franchise from the bottom up.
Final Thoughts & Feedback
NBA® 2K22 seems to get more exciting with each new release, and out of all of these changes, the one I am most excited about is the improvements to the gameplay. The 2K games always find a way to improve with each version, and I hope this version continues the tradition of giving us many ways exciting ways to play.
